JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Whether you're on the road or in the air, Wednesday is one of the busiest travel days of the year. Then add a major storm and it could easily make for a stressful travel day.
A large storm system is making its way East, which could potentially bring severe thunderstorms to our area. So far, JIA is already reporting three canceled flights.
Travelers say they're prepared for the worst.
"Just be ready for whenever they want to put me on the plane," says traveler Ashley Andrews.
Traveler Douglas Gabbert says, "I'll go and I hope it doesn't get delayed. And if it is, I'll wait."
Make sure to call the airline before heading out to the airport to make sure your flight isn't delayed or canceled.
