JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The weekend will begin warm under partly sunny skies with afternoon temperatures soaring into the 70s. By Saturday night into Sunday a wind shift to the east/northeast will bring cooler temperatures, especially closer to the coast and beaches. Highs Sunday will range widely -- from the low 60s near the coast to upper 60s near I-95 to the low to mid 70s well inland. Some moisture will move ashore with the wind, so a few showers will be possible from I-95 to the beaches though amounts will be light. Overall, the high pollen counts, dry conditions and far above average temperatures will continue over the weekend and well into next week.
