JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A strong cold front will roll across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Wednesday preceded by a line of heavy showers and scattered thunderstorms. Tonight will be warm and humid with a few showers and storms over mainly Southeast Georgia. By early Wednesday, a line of rain and storms will extend from Central Georgia to the Florida Panhandle rolling east into Waycross and Lake City during the morning to near Jacksonville near the lunch hour to the coast shortly thereafter. Because of the fast movement, rainfall will only average a quarter to three-quarters of an inch. Temperatures will reach the 70s in the morning before falling into the 60s as the rain moves in.
