JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One of the keys to President Obama's re-election campaign was winning the Hispanic vote.

In 2008, President Obama won the election by boosting minority voter turnout. In Florida, 17 percent of voters are Hispanic.

Political analysts say Hispanics are the fastest growing portion of the electorate.

Hispanics are seen as the one major group where President Obama gained ground, having more than 70 percent of their votes.

That was an improvement over the president's performance four years ago.
