JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A band of heavy rain and a few thunderstorms will roll west to east across metro Jacksonville and all of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia this evening.  Winds of 30-40 mph will accompany the rain with a few gusts of 50-60 mph possible.  An isolated short-lived tornado is possible as well.  Skies will clear late tonight followed by plummeting temperatures to near 40 by early Friday.  Gusty northwest winds will send wind chills to near 30 so bundle up!  Friday will be sunny but windy and cold with highs only in the 50s, but it will feel much colder with the wind.  A widespread inland freeze will occur Friday night and early Saturday.  Send weather photos and video ** here **.
