JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- An approaching cold front will bring rain to Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia through the afternoon commute into this evening. Unfortunately amounts will not be significant averaging less than a quarter of an inch and in many places not even enough to measure. Gusty southwest winds will shift to the west/northwest overnight followed by clearing skies late tonight ushering in another round of cool temperatures. Wednesday will be partly to mostly sunny and cooler but nice. With a breeze from the north/northeast, lows early in the morning will be in the 30s west of Highway 301...lower 40s near the I-95 corridor and mid to upper 40s near the coast then reaching the 60s in the afternoon. After a chilly night Wednesday night with lows in the 30s inland, another warming trend will begin Thursday.
