JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Local volunteers are busy loading up donations for Superstorm Sandy victims. In just one week's time, the River City has shown its generosity for those suffering.

The items include non-perishable food items, paper products, cleaning supplies and pet food. Crews are working to box it all up, and send it up north.

The city is hoping to have the items on their way to New Jersey by Friday morning. While city officials are blown away by how many items were donated, they're now in need of help packing it all up. Anyone available today is asked to come down to the Prime Osborn to help with the effort. The volunteers will be stationed at door 6, in the back. Volunteers say they will be there as long as it takes, to get everything packed up.
