JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The old, historic clock that used to stand at the corner of Adams and Laura Streets downtown will soon be returned to its post.
The old ticker was taken down back in April 2011 for repairs.
Action News has learned the clock has been successfully fixed and the city's working to choose a bidder to reinstall it.
City officials tell Action News they expect to select a company in a few weeks.
They anticipate that the clock should be back up and running by early summer.
