CANTON, CT -- Investigators are trying to figure out why a small plane crashed, killing a Florida couple.
A 73-year-old man and wife were flying a 4-seat Piper airplane, when it disappeared off radar in Connecticut, Wednesday evening. The wreckage was found in the woods a few hours later.
The pair was flying from their home in Live Oak to visit family for the holiday.
