JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police have arrested a local man's roomates, after his body was found floating in the water near the Dinsmore Boat Ramp.
Victor Gavillan-Martinez and his girlfriend, Erica Roach have both been arrested in the death of Jerome Faulk Jr. Faulk's body was found by kayakers on November 4, 2012.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office tells Action News, Gavillan-Martinez beat Faulk to death after learning that Faulk and Roach were involved in a relationship. A witness told police that Gavillan-Martinez killed Faulk inside their trailer then burned a mattress out back. Gavillan-Martinez is charged with murder. Police say Roach wasn't involved in Faulk's murder or the dumping of his body, she is charged with accessory after the fact.
