NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- A Coast Guard crew out of Jacksonville and several other agencies are searching for a missing fisherman off the coast of New Smyrna Beach.
49-year-old Bernardo Enrique Rubio Hernandez was reported missing Thursday morning. He is from Apopka.
A concerned family member reported him missing at 12:04 a.m. on Thursday. He left the New Smyrna Beach boat ramp in his skiff Wednesday and was planning to return at sunset, but he never did. Hernandez's vehicle is still at the boat ramp.
