JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire on the Southside.
The fire burned a home off Sands Avenue, just a few blocks west of FSCJ's South campus.
A husband and wife lived at the home for 18 years. They went to pay their electric bill and returned to find their home on fire.
The family believes they lost a number of animals in the fire.
