JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A large shield of rain will move across Central Florida through this evening with northern edge making it into Clay and St. Johns County so expect light to moderate rain in Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine, Hastings, Crescent Beach, Picolata, Green Cove Springs, Penney Farms, Keystone Heights, Palatka, Interlachen and Palm Coast.  There will be some drizzle and very light rain up to and near I-10 including much of metro Jacksonville.  The rain will diminish then end late this evening and overnight with clouds breaking up some by morning.  Across Southeast Georgia cloudy skies this evening will clear late.  Grab a jacket or coat as temperatures drop into the upper 30s to mid 40s tonight.  Friday will end up being a pretty nice day under partly sunny skies with afternoon highs in the 60s.  A strong cold front will roll through the area late Friday night-Saturday ushering in some of the coldest air of the winter.  Blustery north winds will drop wind chills into the 20s Saturday night with an inland frost/freeze likely both Sunday and Monday.
